Terms and Conditions

Registration at www.blocomed.com is free of charge. Customers shall have access to their personal data via a password and they can change their data at any time.

Registration is necessary for customers to make purchases or to access private content. Registration is not obligatory and can be cancelled at any time. All information supplied is completely confidential and only blocomed has access to customer registration data.

1. Orders

To place an order on www.blocomed.com customers must register on the website. You need only register once. The merchandise included in your order shall be sent via courier or in exceptional cases via the postal service, as described below.

2. Prices

Suggested retail prices and terms of payment are stipulated in the applicable price list for products supplied by www.blocomed.com.

3. Payment

Products shall only be sent after payment is confirmed. blocomed offers two payment methods: MultiBanco ATM and VISA. ATM MultiBanco payments are made by selecting the Services Payment category and entering the respective information regarding Entity, Reference No. and Purchase Amount. Payments using VISA shall be made on the www.blocomed.com website. All transactions are made through a certified company (EASYPAY) and the utmost security and confidentiality is guaranteed for customers.

4. Transport

The purchased merchandise shall be transported within five business days after payment confirmation (unless we are out of stock). The merchandise shall be hand delivered by the company to the address entered by the customer upon registration (it is important that customers provide a valid contact number so the courier can get in touch with them to set up a delivery time that is convenient). In exceptional cases delivery shall be made by another company of via the postal service. The price of transport for mainland Portugal is €4.90. The price of transport to the Azores and Madeira archipelagos is €12.50. Delivery time periods are estimated as of the date the orders are processed and according to the transporter and destination. The time period indicated by blocomed varies between 5 and 15 business days after payment confirmation (unless we run out of stock), and blocomed shall not be responsible for any delay in delivering the order.

5. Returns

For Businesses, Institutions, Liberal Professionals and Entrepreneurs, the general legislation of the Portuguese Civil Code applies, namely the rules of Decree-Law no. 67/2003.

For Individual Customers (Consumers)  the general legislation of the Portuguese Civil Code applies, namely the rules of Decree-Law no. 143/2001 and Decree-Law no. 82/2008.

In long distance contracts the customer benefits from the right to reflect and change his or her mind after receiving the shipment, in accordance with the law; he or she is  obliged to return the purchased products within a period of 30 days after receiving them, provided they are in perfect condition, in their original packaging intact and with all of their pamphlets and guaranties. Once the returned products have been received they shall be exchanged within a maximum period of 14 days. Products should always be returned in their original packaging with all of their accessories receipt and/or invoice. If you wish to cancel your order please send an email to info@blocomed.com up to 24h after it has been paid, so that we can be sure not to ship it. All shipping, handling and cancellation charges shall be paid by the customer.

ó. Guaranties 

www.blocomed.com ensures manufacturer guaranties will be implemented. All articles have a minimum 2 year guaranty against manufacturing defects. All products that are included the guaranty shall be accepted if they are accompanied by the invoice. For DOA (Dead on Arrival) products, i.e. products that malfunction upon reception by the customer, the exchange shall be made immediately if possible. You must fill in the applicable form and send it to our technical services. The exchange shall be made within a maximum of 15 business days if it has been purchased less than one year ago (unless we are out of stock), immediately after blocomed® has confirmed the malfunction, as long as the product is intact (packaging, manuals, etc.). If we are out of stock the product shall be sent to the manufacturer. In such cases the repair/replacement time period shall be the manufacturer’s responsibility. In the case of malfunctioning material under guaranty, the return shall be paid by the customer and subsequent shipping shall be paid for by blocomed®.

7. General Conditions

The fact that the customer has not received these general conditions of sale in his or her language does not make them inapplicable. bloco® reserves the right to accept the customer in accordance with the aforementioned conditions or to indicate the required conditions. The present contract and additional provisions shall be governed by private Portuguese law, both in terms of national and international transactions. For all legal disputes ensuing from the present contract, the parties shall choose a venue under the jurisdiction of the District of Lisbon, expressly renouncing all others.
